Meditation and Energy

Meditation is the ancient practice of focusing the mind and relaxing the body. Meditation can give you a lasting sense of calm, peace and emotional stability, and can deliver a range of health benefits. Energy, also known as chi or qi, is the life force that flows through and around our bodies. Learning to sense and move energy can empower you to relax, heal, and feel profound joy.

A Transformational Series

Want relaxation?  Mental clarity?  Physical rejuvenation?

Join us for meditation and energy classes.  Each fifty-minute session will include an introduction, a meditation, and an exploration of human energy - how to sense it, move it, and harness it to enhance your life. Portions of the class will involve silence and stillness. Other portions will feature partner and group exercises, as well as gentle movements and stretches.

Details

Each course in the ten-week series will explore a new theme.  Themes will include topics such as self assessment, the mind/body connection, healing, intuition, animal totems, having enough, letting go, light and the nature of matter, attracting what you want, and staying in the present moment.

Each week's theme will guide the meditations and energy work you engage in during the session.  In addition, your instructor will provide you with exercises and/or challenges to attempt for the week between classes, inviting you to enhance the benefits of the series.

Each class will build upon the skills and lessons of the former classes, so participation in the entire series is recommended, though new participants are always welcome.
