Chiropractic

We are the official Chiropractic care providers of DC United Soccer and Virginia Board of Medicine Certified Physicians. By utilizing traditional orthopedic and neurologic assessment and hands-on Chiropractic, we address various musculoskeletal conditions such as headaches, whiplash, neck and shoulder tensions, low-back pain and many other muscle and joint ailments. The goal is to alleviate pain and to restore the injured body to a functional state.

Chiropractic care has been accepted as the mainstream approach to a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, such as tension and migraine headaches, herniated disc, and whiplash. Chiropractors are recognized for their expertise of examination and diagnosis of many physical ailments. The treatment goal is to restore and maintain the health of the spinal column and to set the entire body to its optimum configuration. Thus, promoting Health and Well being.

Dr. Hirad N. Bagy

Dr. Hirad N. Bagy has lived in Northern Virginia most of his life. He attended Lake Braddock High school and George Mason University where he earned his double undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish. He finished his studies with a Doctoral Degree in Chiropractic from Northwestern University of Health Sciences in 1997.

Dr. Bagy, or as most of his patients refer to him – Dr. H, is the official Chiropractor of D.C. United, and treated at the 2002 and 2004 MLS All Star games. He was also the Chiropractor for the 1999 & 2003 Women’s World Cup Team. His list of famous patients include Freddy Adu, Shania Twain, Paulina Rubio, Mia Hamm, Brandy Chastain, Marco Etcheverry, and Ben Olsen. During her tour through the DC area, Shania Twain was interested in seeing a chiropractor. Dr. H's reputation in the area landed him an adjustment for Shania. He continued treatment for a few more days until she left town.

Dr. Aleck Wong

Dr. Aleck Wong's commitment to compassionate, quality care lead him to join the United Chiropractic Center in 2004. He lived in Upstate New York for five years where he obtained his Bachelor of Professional Studies and his Doctorate of Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College.

Along with chiropractic adjustment, Dr. Wong blends a strong interest in soft-tissue methods of healing, using numerous techniques including the Graston Technique® and Active Release Technique® (ART). Dr. Wong's interest in athletic injuries persuaded him to join the NYCC Sports Science and Human Performance Team, in which he partook in the treatment of various track & field athletes all over the United States.

Dr. Wong continues to be involved with athletic performance and wellness education.

Dr. Rachel Dolbin

Dr. Rachel Dolbin has recently joined United Wellness Center’s team of health care providers. She has a passion for helping her patients reach their health goals, and believes educating them on nutrition and the human body’s structure and function is invaluable and allows them to take control of their own health.

Dr. Rachel grew up in Pottsville, PA and is a fourth generation chiropractor. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While at Maryland, she was a member of the Terrapin’s NCAA women’s gymnastics team, and was named Co-Captain her Junior and Senior years. She completed her pre-med education at the National University of Health Sciences, Lombard, IL in 2004 prior to her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2008. She is board certified through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the VA Board of Medicine.

She has a strong interest in Prenatal and Pediatric Chiropractic, and has focused much of her postgraduate education in this area. She is an advocate for natural childbirth, and wants to educate women on how they can achieve this goal with the help of supportive care providers. She is certified in Webster Technique by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, a prenatal-specific biomechanical analysis and chiropractic correction of pelvic bony structures and soft tissue for an easier pregnancy and childbirth.
